Venue: The October Gallery, 24 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AL
This is the latest in a series of afternoons comprising study of the work of the great spiritual teacher, Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi. The aim of the study is to nurture a sentiment for self-knowledge, rather than for any academic or cultural benefit.
No previous knowledge of Ibn ‘Arabi’s writings is needed. The seminar is designed both for those new to his work and for long-term students.
This seminar will focus on the chapter, The Wisdom of Singularity in The Word of Muhammad from Ibn ‘Arabi’s seminal work, the Fusus al-Hikam.
“Considered to be the quintessence of Ibn ‘Arabi’s spiritual teaching, it comprises twenty-seven chapters, each dedicated to the spiritual meaning and wisdom of a particular prophet.” The Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi Society
