By Car

Chisholme is off the main A7 which links Carlisle to Edinburgh, close to the town of Hawick (OS map ref: Sheet 79, 418121). Turn West on to B711 two miles south of Hawick off the A7. After 3.6 miles take the first left in Roberton (sign posted Craik), then first left after 1.8 miles (crosses river, sp 17 ton bridge). The Chisholme entrance is 0.7 miles on the left.

By Air

Nearest Airports are Edinburgh and Newcastle; Glasgow is also possible, although further away. From Edinburgh airport take the Airlink shuttle bus (every 10 minutes) to the City Centre to Waverley Station; then as above for the 95 bus. The closest bus stop from Edinburgh Airport is on North Bridge Street.
Pick-up from all three Airports can be arranged on request.

By Train and Bus

The bus which gets people to Hawick travels from Edinburgh to Carlisle and back, so whether you are coming from the south or the north you catch the same bus – the hourly number 95 First Borders bus.
• The bus to Hawick from Carlisle stops and starts a short walk from Carlisle railway station.
• In Edinburgh First Borders X95 and 95 now start from Edinburgh Bus Station near St. Andrews Square close to Waverley train station.
• In Hawick get off at 'Morrisons Supermarket, Mart St'. A taxi from Hawick is about £12 or phone us to see if we can collect you.
