Michael Cohen of the Beshara Trust will explore Ibn Arabi’s teaching on the Oneness of Being from the Trust’s publications Know Yourself and Twenty Nine Pages. The talk will consider how, for Ibn Arabi, knowing the true nature of the self opens onto a deeper understanding of reality, that in knowing oneself, the distinction between self and Being is seen in a new light.
