Course Description

The Fusus al-Hikam – the “Bezels of Wisdom” by Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, was his last major opus, which he considered to be the most important of his more than 350 books. The theme is the inner meaning of the 27 prophets mentioned in the Quran from Adam to Mohammed: the infinite wisdom, which is at once unique in itself and many-faceted in its representation. The Fusus is simultaneously an explanation of the most profound meaning of mans existence and perfectibility and an esoteric exegesis of the Quran.

Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi (born in Andalusia 1165, died in Damascus 1240) mystic, philosopher, poet, sage, is one of the worlds great spiritual teachers, whose writings provide a beautiful exposition of the Unity of Being. The universality of his thought, which is making him increasingly well-known in the West, is as powerfully relevant in today’s world as it has ever been.

These sessions are supported and sponsored by The Beshara Trust.
